About The Buntingford Journal

The Buntingford Journal was launched by the Buntingford Civic Society in January 1976 following the closure of a church-based magazine called 'Contact'.

It is published ten times per year on a monthly basis with a double issue for July/August and December/January. Members of the Buntingford Civic Society receive a copy of the Journal as part of their membership subscription.

The remaining copies are sold via local retailers in Buntingford with the current outlets being the Co-Op, Budgens (the Post Office), Mark Doel, the Cheese Plate, Lock Stocks & More and Kim's card stall on the Monday market.

The Buntingford Journal is published by, but is editorially independent of, the Buntingford Civic Society. If you would like to join the Civic Society, an application form for local residents is available here, and a postal membership form is available here.
